This policy explains what personal data GurugramHelp collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
Who we are
GurugramHelp is an independent assistance service based in Gurugram, Haryana, that helps people with vehicle, licence, documentation, business, certificate and legal paperwork. For this policy, GurugramHelp is the "data fiduciary": we decide how your personal data is used.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. Your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address (optional), the service you need and the message you write.
- Documents and details for your work. If you ask us to handle a service, the documents and information it needs, such as identity and address proof, vehicle papers, property documents, business details or photographs. We ask only for what the service requires.
- Messages and calls. What you send us on WhatsApp or by phone.
- Technical data. Like any website, the servers that deliver this site receive your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not use this to identify you.
How the enquiry form works
The enquiry form does not store or send your details to our server. When you press "Send requirement", it opens WhatsApp with your message ready, and nothing reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and explain what your work involves.
- To prepare, file and follow up on the applications, documents or matters you ask us to handle.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as for tax and accounts.
We use your data only for the purpose you gave it for. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for marketing without your separate consent.
Who we share it with
Only as far as your work needs:
- Government authorities that handle your application, such as the RTO, sub-registrar, municipal and state departments.
- Professionals involved in your matter, such as advocates, notaries, chartered accountants and e-stamp vendors.
- Service providers we rely on, such as WhatsApp for messaging and the company that hosts this website.
- Authorities that lawfully require it, such as under a court order.
Your consent
By sending us an enquiry or documents, you consent to our using them as described here. You can withdraw consent at any time by telling us. Withdrawal does not affect anything already done, and we may not be able to continue a service that needs the data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed to finish your work and meet legal or accounting requirements. After that, we delete it or return your documents.
How we protect it
We take reasonable security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, and limit access to people who need it to handle your work. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so please share documents only through the channels we give you.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Our services are for adults. Where a service concerns a child, such as a birth certificate, we deal with the child's parent or lawful guardian.
